So the other day, via the magic of twitter, I came across this article, in which the author complains about this list of the best 100 novels of the last 100 years, or something.
I think the author of the LA Times blog didn't quite get that the whole point of listmaking is to start arguments. It's, like, why it's fun. So rather than argue with the NPR guy's rather boring list, I thought I'd make my own list of my favorite books I've ever read. These will be in alphabetical order, not ranked according to quality or how much I like them.
For the purposes of not appearing to be a complete tool, I have eliminated my own novels from consideration, but I do hope they'll make your list. What? Haven't read one of my novels yet? Click over there to the left and buy buy buy!
